Frequently asked questions

Is it difficult to drive a motorhome?

A motor home is not difficult to drive and no special license is required. We will be happy to take a test drive with you before you head out. We want you to feel safe and comfortable on the road. Our team can help with any questions you may have.

How much does it cost to rent a motorhome?

The rate will depend upon the number of nights and type of RV. Other factors such as extra mileage, optional rental equipment such as kitchen kits, barbeques, bike racks, etc., will affect the overall price. Please visit our reservation page for information. Our rates stay the same year round! The longer the rental, the more discounts applied to over all total. For 2+ week rentals we offer free kitchen or bedding kit upon request.

What if I want to use my Motor Home?

It is very simple. When you know you want to use the coach, call us and we'll reserve it for you as though you were any other renter. When you pick it up, it will be full of fuel, water and propane. We'll start the refrigerator and water heater for you and check all the appliances, generator, etc. All we ask is that you return it full of fuel, propane and cleaned with holding tanks dumped so that it's ready to go out on the next rental.

Are pets allowed to travel in a rental motorhome?

Yes! We allow pets in the motorhomes. Please let us know if a pet will be traveling. We have owners who are pet sensitive and therefore will need to give you an appropriate vehicle. A deposit of $250.00 is required and returned after drop off if no damage has occurred.

Are renters allowed to smoke in my Motor Home?

NO! We don't allow smoking in any of our rental units. There is far too much risk that the upholstery or carpet could be damaged and many people are sensitive to the smell of smoke. Every renter must sign a sheet that clearly states that there is no smoking allowed in the coach. If they choose to ignore this rule, they will be charged a minimum of $250.00 so the coach can be fumigated and professionally cleaned to remove the after-effects from the smoke. This charge is purposely high to defer even the most stubborn renter.

Is smoking allowed in rental motorhomes?

All RV's are non smoking inside. Also, camp fires should be a reasonable distance from RV at all times due to vehicles having a propane tank and possible smoke damage from the camp fire. Smoke will damage the interior of the RV. Please use care when open flames are near!

How many people can travel in a motorhome?

The number of people that can travel safely in a motor home will depend on the seatbelts installed. Passengers should be seatbelted at all times while the RV is in motion and limit walking around. Most RV's have seatbelts equal to the sleeping capacity ranging from 5-10. Once an RV is parked it is your discretion how many people are inside!

Is travel to Canada or Mexico allowed?

RV rental guests are permitted to travel into Canada; however, we do not allow travel into Mexico.

How old to rent an RV in Florida from RV Rentals Orlando?

You must be 25 years of age with a valid driver's license and have a credit card in the same name as the renter.

What type of insurance is required to rent a motorhome?

We make having rental insurance very simple. Commercial RV insurance can be purchased online from MBA at our office or a binder from your insurance company covering the RV . Additional SLI can also be added to your coverage .

What can I expect in fuel efficiency?

Keep in mind that a motor home is much heavier than a passenger vehicle; mileage is typically 10-14 miles per gallon.
